Casino Hold'Em is a variation of poker and is similar in nature to Texa Hold'Em. Texas Hold'Em is popular around the world, but particularly in Europe and South Africa. The Playtech software platform has brought Casino Hold'Em to us through the Play United casino site.
How to Play
The player begins Casino Hold'Em by placing an ante bet, he is then dealt two face down cards, as is the dealer. The player is allowed to look at his cards and the dealer deals what is known as 'the flop'. These are three community cards and are dealt to the centre of the table. At this stage of the game players have to decide whether to call or fold, if he folds, he loses his ante bet, if he calls he must pay up to the tune of twice his original ante. Another two cards are dealt to the centre of the table and the dealer turns over his cards. The player is scored according to the poker value of his cards, plus the centre community cards, as is the dealer. In Casino Hold'Em the dealer has to have at least a pair of fours to qualify, if he does not them he pays each of the players according to the ante pay-tables.
