Spin a Win is a roulette wheel, but not as we know it. Rather than just red and black numbers, this one has red, yellow, blue, green and orange, so 'sticking it all on red' carries a significantly larger element of risk than the usual game of roulette. There are seven red numbers (1-7), six green (8-13), five blue (14-18), four yellow (19-22) and two orange (23 and 24)
How to Play
Firstly, select the amount you wish to bet - this ranges from $0.10 to $100. The game works like normal roulette, although the extra colours add another dimension. You can lay bets in different areas, the most basic of which is picking a number on which you think the ball will land. As there are 24 numbers, this makes predicting one specific number difficult. If you get the correct number, you win the amount you have staked, times 23.4 ? so if you have staked $10 you get back $234
You can also bet on which colour you think the ball will land on. There are odds assigned on how likely each colour is, with the lonely orange numbers paying out your stake times 11.7 while the red numbers 'only' pay out times 3.3. Betting on the ball falling within an eight-number range (1-8, 9-16 or 17-24) gives you odds of 2.9, while you can also bet on the final digit of the winning number (from 1-4, so even if you cover all fields you're not guaranteed any payout) at odds of 7.8. Finally, you can bet on whether the ball will fall odd or even at odds of 1.9, or whether it will be higher or lower than the previous roll, with odds depending on the previous number.
Review
The extra colours add an element to this game beyond the typical roulette wheel, but apart from that it's roulette as we know it. Therefore, your feelings about roulette will largely decide how much you enjoy this game. It's not for roulette purists, who will sneer at the rainbow-like wheel, but as a way of passing the time it's a good laugh.
